Malvensky- AW 24

Malvensky is a prestigious Romanian jewelry brand founded by Malvina Cservenschi, a former journalist and TV presenter turned designer and creative director. With a team of 15 professionals, Malvina oversees the creation of luxurious jewelry pieces that embody elegance and refinement. The brand's flagship store transitioned into Casa de Bijuterii Malvensky in 2020, marking a significant chapter in its evolution. Malvensky's mission is to bring symbols and traditions to life through gold and diamond jewelry, celebrating human emotions and connections. Each piece is crafted authentically, speaking to the wearer's heart and becoming a cherished heirloom. From iconic collections like Infinity to tributes to cultures like Marrakesh and Italy's La Grande Bellezza, Malvensky continues to weave tales of beauty and tradition into every creation.

Rhea Costa- AW 24

Established in 2009 in Bucharest as a creation atelier, Rhea Costa was received with high acclaims both by the public and specialist press, being recognized for its fresh approach of the balance between power and femininity.

Rhea Costa is recognized today for the subtle way through which each garment is adapted to the different body types, styles and cultures, proving that “Every woman is unique.”, regardless of the cliche, is a truth: serial production is a thing of the past.

With handcrafted statement garments, each Rhea Costa piece becomes a manifesto for the couture that transcends exclusivity and steps into every day, conserving its rigorous attention to detail.

From the studio in Bucharest where Andreea Constantin designs and attends on every dress from pattern to labelling, Rhea Costa is sold worldwide and can be found in departments stores and high end boutiques throughout Central Europe, The Middle East, Asia and Russia.

Eliza Jane Howell

Eliza Jane Howell is an English brand established in 1890 when the designer started her eponymous fashion label. In 2016 and 2017, Eliza Jane Howell was voted Best Bridal Designer by the first-ever UK Wedding Awards. The brand has since established itself as one of the most glittering names in bridal wear.

The Legacy of Love 2024 bridal and evening wear collection was shot in May 2023 in London, in the beautiful setting of Dartmouth House, one of the most exclusive and elegant mansions in the heart of Mayfair. The amazing lighting setup created by Horia, combined with the elegance and grandeur of the mansion, made the EJH collection shine.

It was not an easy task to make it happen, as we had to travel very early in the morning, actually, really late at night! Unfortunately, the airline lost some of our belongings, including some essential items for the shoot. Fortunately, we were fortunate to have our friends from Manfrotto on Oxford Street, who resolved the situation within two hours of landing.

Horia, known for his creativity, as usual, identified the best locations in the courtyard and marble staircase to capture these iconic pictures.

Supria Munjal

Supria Munjal is a promising newcomer from New Delhi, a gifted designer known for her exquisite creations. Her work exemplifies a great mix of India's rich textiles combined with futuristic design heritage. We met Supria in Paris last year during Paris Fashion Week, in one of our favorite showrooms at Hotel du Collectionneur, when we had to shoot the campaign for her new collection.

Horia and the team decided to adventure in Paris, looking for the best spots to shoot the collection: Pont Alexandre 3, Tour Eiffel, and Parc Monceau. It was complicated but very intriguing to find the perfect light and colors to reveal the experimental silhouettes with innovative hand surface textures that are transformed into ethereal drapes, creating a sculpture-like effect.

We had to pay exceptional attention to details, such as the garment embroideries, trappings, and unique fabrics that needed to stand out both in pictures and videos. What a mix of color, shapes, and architecture gathered all together behind Horia’s Sony lens.

Gill Harvey Collection

This multi-award-winning collection ensures that you feel and look your best on your special day. A Gill Harvey dress is the epitome of style, glamour, and the kind of elegance that demands attention.

Back in London, back in Mayfair, but now the team will shoot at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane.

It was a challenge to find this Art Deco setup to complement the intricate designs and embroidery from the English designer.

The lights had to be well-balanced, as the photographer needed to capture all the details that make these dresses spectacular.

With Art Deco features like mirrors and silver tones, it is not easy to blend them with complex designs. However, Horia did a perfect job, and the dresses seamlessly fit into the setup.

How did he do it? He has his tricks, and you can find out about them in our workshops!

Consiglieri Italy

One of their standout campaigns was Atemporali, which was actually the Spring Summer 2023 campaign. It was shot in the beautiful region of Puglia in Southern Italy.

Finding the perfect locations in Puglia was a collaborative effort for the entire team, as they wanted the surroundings to complement the exquisite clothing of the brand.

Over the course of three days, we traveled between Lecce, Matera, Alberobelo, Martina Franca, and Monopoli, accompanied by the talented team from Consiglieri.

Our goal was to capture both the golden hour and the blue hour, which proved to be quite challenging due to the unpredictable weather. However, with the determination and resilience of our strong and charismatic men, we were able to create stunning pictures.

La piață. Revuluția - Romanian Opera House

One special project in 2023 was the exhibition for The National Opera in Bucharest, where Horia presented a series of photographs showcasing the latest shows: “Revolutia” and “La Piata.”

The show transported the audience back in time 33 years ago, successfully offering new perspectives on the events that marked our recent history.

The photographs were exceptional, capturing the artists during rehearsals.

Given the limited time, we had to act swiftly, and our interaction with the artists had to be profound.

The exhibition took place at The National Opera. Displaying 1m panned photos on improvised cymas was challenging.

Overall, it was a significant success for all of us!

Balisarda- Dubai

Balisarda is a jewelry company based in Bucharest, Romania, with whom we had the pleasure of collaborating in 2018 for their campaign in Dubai.

Shooting in the desert posed a considerable challenge for the entire team. Not only was the temperature scorching, but the lighting conditions were also problematic. Despite these obstacles, we managed to overcome them, resulting in a truly successful shoot.

The model looked amazing, the colors were perfect, and Horia, our photographer, did an excellent job capturing the best possible light.
